156. Regulation of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Labour on the accreditation of TÜV AUSTRIA CERT GMBH for the certification of management systems

On the basis of § 17 (1) of the Accreditation Act, BGBl. No. 468/1992, in the version of the Federal Law BGBl. I No 85/2002, shall be assigned:

§ 1. TÜV AUSTRIA CERT GMBH, headquartered in 1015 Vienna, Krugerstraße 16, is accredited as a body that certifies management systems (according to ÖVE/ÖNORM EN ISO/IEC 17021).

§ 2. The certification authority includes the certification of management systems in the following areas:

1.

Certification of quality management systems according to EN ISO 9001,

2.

Certification of safety management systems according to SCC, SCP, OHSAS 18001 and SA 8000,

3.

the certification of environmental management systems in accordance with EN ISO 14001 according to the Annex specified scope,

4.

Certification of management systems for food safety in accordance with EN ISO 22000.

§ 3. The certification authority applies to those areas in which the Federal Government is responsible for legislation and enforcement, provided that the federal laws governing these areas do not comply with the provisions of the Accreditation Act relating to the accreditation of such bodies.

§ 4. With the entry into force of this Regulation, the Regulation of the Federal Minister of Economics and Labour will enter into force on the accreditation of TÜV AUSTRIA CERT GMBH for the certification of management systems, BGBl. II No 235/2007, except for force.
