74. Federal Act to amend the Environmental Promotion Act

The National Council has decided:

Amendment of the Environmental Promotion Act

Federal law on the promotion of measures in the fields of water management, the environment, the remediation of contaminated sites, the protection of the environment abroad and the Austrian JI/CDM Programme for Climate Protection (Environmental Promotion Act), BGBl. No. 185/1993, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I n ° 34/2008, shall be amended as follows:

1. § 6 (2d) third sentence reads:

"In 2007, an additional EUR 10 million will be made available in 2008, € 20 million in 2008, and a further € 53 million from the year 2009."

§ 35 last sentence reads:

" As far as projects are carried out in developing countries, the objectives and principles of Austrian development policy are in accordance with § 1 of the Federal Law on Development Cooperation, BGBl. I No 49/2002, as amended. '

3. In § 43 (2), § 45 Z 2b and § 49 Z 1c, the term " "Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs" by the name "Federal Minister for European and International Affairs" replaced.
