171. Regulation of the Federal Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology, amending the Maritime Regulation (Maritime Ordinance) and the Yacht Registration Regulation (YeWF)

Article 1

Amendment of the Seeschifffahrts Regulation

Pursuant to Section 15 (1) of the Maritime Law-SeeSchFG, BGBl. No 174/1981, as last amended by BGBl. I No 41/2005, shall be:

The Regulation of the Federal Minister for Transport on Maritime Transport (Seeschifffahrts-Regulation-SeeSchFVO), BGBl. No. 189/1981, last amended by BGBl. II No 274/2004, shall be amended as follows:

1. § 2 Z 7 reads:

" 7.		"W a t-o d e r T a g e s f a h r t": travel on the coast and on protected waters, such as golfing, bays lagoons, estuaries or cottons; the journey of a watt or day extends to a range of three nautical miles, measured from the coast, which is is from the mainland or of islands (riding area 1); "

2. In § 201 Z 1, the literals are given the names "b)," c) " and " (d) "; the following new lit. a) shall be inserted:

" (a)			Certificate of competence for the use of motor yachts with a length of up to 8 m in the driving area 1, "

3. In § 201 Z 2, the literals are given the names "b)," c) " and " (d) "; the following new lit. a) shall be inserted:

" (a)			Certificate of qualification for the use of a watt or day trip-entitlement to independent guidance of sailing yachts with a length of up to 8 m in the riding area 1, "

(4) In § 202 (6), the term of introduction shall be between the following words: "for motor and sailing yachts" and "for coastal voyage (§ 2 Z 8)" the phrase "for Watt or day trip (§ 2 Z 7) by 50 nautical miles," inserted.

Section 202 (1) Z 1 reads as follows:

" 1.		the 18. Year of life, for a certificate of qualification for Watt or day trip the 16. Year of life; "

6. In § 202 (2) and § 203 (2) (6), the word order shall be "the 19th year of life" in each case by the word sequence "the 18th year of life" replaced.

Section 204 (5) is added to the following sentence:

"After the expiry of this period, the theoretical examination shall be repeated."

8. § 206 (2), the following sentence is added:

"The federal coat of arms can be attached to the endorsement, the federal coat of arms can be placed under the certificate of competence."

Article 2

Amendment of the Yacht Registration Regulation

Pursuant to Section 13 (4) of the Maritime Law-SeeSchFG, BGBl. No 174/1981, as last amended by BGBl. I No 41/2005, shall be:

The regulation of the Federal Minister of Public Economy and Transport on the admission of yachts to sea shipping (Jachtzujunctions Regulation), BGBl. No 502/1994 in the BGBl version. II No 167/2005, shall be amended as follows:

1. The short title of the Yacht Registration Ordinance receives the abbreviation "JachtZulVO" .

2. In Appendix 5, the following Z 16a is used. inserted:

" 16a.		a VHF radio equipment; "

3. In Appendix 5 Z 19, Appendix 6 Z 22 and Appendix 7 Z 24, the 4 is in each case. Line:

"Signal transmitter or signal pistol, each with signal ammunition .................... 1"
