200th Ordinance of the Federal Minister for economy, family and youth on the professional training for the teaching profession dental technical assistance (dental specialist Assistant training regulations)

On the basis of articles 8a and 24 of the vocational training Act, Federal Law Gazette No. 142/1969, as last amended by the Federal Act Federal Law Gazette I no. 82/2008, is prescribed:

Teaching dental specialist Assistant



§ 1.

 (1) the teaching dental technical assistance is furnished with an apprenticeship of three years as a training test.

(2) teaching within the meaning of this regulation is



1. a freelance member of the dental profession or dentist profession, 2. a dental group practice, 3. a University Clinic for dental, oral and maxillofacial surgery, or 4. a dental clinic or an other hospitals within the framework of the Department or other organizational unit for dentistry.

(3) teaching beneficiary within the meaning of this regulation a member of the dental profession or dentist profession is."

(4) in training in the teaching of dental technical assistance can be contacted until the end of June 30, 2014.

(5) the terms in this Regulation include the male and female form each. The teaching profession in the form of the corresponding to the gender of the apprentice (dental specialist Assistant or dental specialist Assistant) is in the apprenticeship contracts, teaching certificates, apprenticeship completion certificates and pretty.

Training profile



§ 2.

 Vocational training in teaching and in the vocational school trained apprentice to acquire general knowledge in the dental specialist assistance and be enabled to professionally and on the order and under the supervision of the dentist or the dentist carrying out the following activities:



1. serve 4 taking X-ray pictures, 5. settling of the dental services with the patient, private insurance and social insurance institutions, apply hygiene measures 6, 7 organizing of the daily practice flow and scheduling of patients before, during, and after the dental treatment, 2. explain the oral hygiene and the measures of prevention, 3. assisting the dentist's conservative, surgical, prosthetic, periodontal and orthodontic treatment , 8 performing administrative tasks such as patient management, correspondence and payments.

§ 3.

 (1) for the training in the teaching of dental technical assistance following training contents are set. The specified skills and knowledge are starting to convey that the apprentice to carry out the relevant activities will be empowered as directed by and under the supervision of the dentist or the dentist within the meaning of the education profile at the latest in the specified year.

§ 4.

§ 5.

§ 6.

 (1) the theoretical test has to be carried out in writing. (3) the duties are to provide that they can be performed usually in 60 minutes.

(4) the examination is to end after 75 minutes.

§ 10.

 (1) the examination shall be made in writing and orally.

(2) the written part has to include a task from the dental ordination which extends to the following areas according to the Audit Commission:



1. scheduling, 2. practice management, 3. statutory regulations, 4. data protection and data security, 5. procurement of goods.

(3) the examination Board has under consideration on the purpose of the final apprenticeship examination and the requirements of professional practice to put a task each test specimen which can be worked out in 90 minutes. The written work can run also in computerised form where all essential steps for the examination Board must be comprehensible.

(4) the written part is to end after 120 minutes.

(5) the oral part is to place before the entire Commission and has to extend the basis of the written work on the questions related to this work practical evaluation of different. § 12.

(2) the topic has the purpose of the final apprenticeship examination and the requirements of professional practice to comply with taking on the services of the teaching. The test is in the form of a possible living conversation with conversation default by portrayal of situations or problems.

(3) the review should take 15 minutes for each candidate. An extension to a maximum of ten minutes shall be made if otherwise a doubtless assess of the performance of the test specimen is not possible the examination Board in individual cases.

Repeat test



§ 13.

 (1) the final apprenticeship examination can be repeated.

(2) if evaluated up to three items with "Not enough", the repeat testing on the items rated "Insufficient" is to limit.

(3) If more than three items with "Not enough" have been assessed, is the entire test to repeat.

Ratios



§ 14.

 By way of derogation from § 8 para 5 of the vocational training Act following ratios relating to the ratio of the number of apprentices to the number of persons employed in the operation, professional technicians trained are set:



1. a professionally relevant trained Personen...ein apprentice, 2. two relevant technically trained Personen...zwei apprentices, 3. four professional technicians trained Personen...drei apprentices, 4 seven professionally relevant trained Personen...vier apprentices, 5. 11 relevant technically trained people... five apprentices, 6 professional technicians trained Personen...je more for each ten a another apprentice.

Relevant technically trained people are those who have completed a highly relevant training in the teaching of Dental Assistant or other vocational training in the Dental Assistant in addition to the authorised.

Evaluation



§ 15.

 The appropriateness of the training in the teaching profession is dental specialist assistance to evaluate using a professional Research Institute. The Federal vocational training Advisory Council has until 31 December 2013 to give an opinion (motif report, findings and conclusions) on the transfer of the in-service dental specialist assistance in the training of the rule to the Federal Minister of economy, family and youth. Where in the drafting of the opinion no unanimity of votes, is to proceed in accordance with section 31, paragraph 7, of the vocational training Act.

Final provisions



§ 16.

 (1) regarding the training regulations for the teaching profession dental technical assistance the provisions of paragraphs 1 to 4, 14 and 15 with 1 July 2009 into effect.

(2) regarding the final apprenticeship examination for the teaching profession dental technical assistance the provisions of sections 5 to 13 with 1 July 2010 into force.
