110. Changes to the system 1 on the order for the international rail transport of dangerous goods (RID), Annex C to the Convention on International Carriage by Rail (COTIF) 2

The Technical Committee for the Carriage of Dangerous Goods of the RID has been published on the occasion of its 44th, 45. and 46. Meeting (Zagreb, 19 November) until 23 November 2007, Bern, 16 May 2008, and Hamburg, 21. to 23. The Council decided to amend the order for the international rail transport of dangerous goods (RID) as follows:

The notes on "ERRATUM No 1" or "ERRATUM No 2" aux textes de notification OTIF/RID/NOT/2009 and/or à la version imprimée du RID 2009, "ERRORDIRECTORY 1" or "ERROR_DIRECTORY 2" to the emergency notification texts OTIF/RID/NOT/2009 or to the printed edition of RID 2009 and Corrigendum 1 respectively "Corrigendum 2" to the notification texts OTIF/RID/NOT/2009 and/or to the printed RID edition 2009 concerns revisions, in accordance with the error directories 1 and 2 already sent by the Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail (OTIF). The references to OTIF/RID/NOT/2009/Add.1 concern the decisions of the 46. Meeting of the Technical Committee.

According to the communication of the Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail (OTIF), no Member State has objected to the amended texts; the amendments are to be amended in accordance with Article 21 (2) of the COTIF (1). January 2009 in force, with a transitional period of 6 months, i.e. with a transitional period until 30 June 2009, that of the OTIF/RID/NOT/2009/Add.1 without a transitional period with 1 July 2009.
