The Republic of Austria raises an objection to the accession of the Dominican Republic with reference to Article 12, paragraph 2, of the Convention.

OBJECTION
The Dominican Republic has accrued its accession to the Convention for the Liberation of Foreign Public Documents from the 1 of 5. October 1961. Referring to Article 12 (2) of the Convention, the Republic of Austria shall make an objection to the accession of the Dominican Republic.
The objection was lodged with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on 24 June 2009; the Convention does not enter into force in accordance with Article 12 (3) of the Convention in relation between Austria and the Dominican Republic. in force.
According to the statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in addition to Austria, the following states have declared an objection to the accession of the Dominican Republic: Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands (including Netherlands Antilles and Aruba).
