71. Federal law establishing a federal law on the participation of Austria in the financing of the lending of the International Monetary Fund to the poorest developing countries and the federal law on the performance of an Austrian Contribution to the HIPC Trust Fund for the debt relief of Liberia is amended

The National Council has decided:

Article 1

Federal law on Austria's participation in the financing of the International Monetary Fund's lending to the poorest developing countries

§ 1. (1) The Oesterreichische Nationalbank is authorized to apply for the Republic of Austria with a contribution of 3.9 million Special Drawing Rights to the Board of Executive Directors (Executive Board) of the International Monetary Fund on 23 July 2009 , to participate in the reform of lending to the poorest developing countries.

(2) The funds shall be provided by the Oesterreichische Nationalbank.

§ 2. The Federal Minister of Finance is responsible for the enforcement of this federal law.

Article 2

Amendment to the Federal Law on the Performance of an Austrian Contribution to the HIPC Trust Fund for the Debt of Liberias

The Federal Act on the Performance of an Austrian Contribution to the HIPC Trust Fund for the Debt of Liberias, BGBl. I n ° 23/2009, shall be amended as follows:

1. The title of the law is:

"Federal Act on the Performance of an Austrian Contribution to the PRG-HIPC Trust for the Debt of Liberia"

2. § 1 reads:

" § 1. The Oesterreichische Nationalbank is authorized to pay an amount for the Republic of Austria in the course of the debt relief of Liberia to the Trust Fund for Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (PRG-HIPC Trust) established by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The amount of 4.8 million special drawing rights must be transferred. "

3. The following § 3 is added:

" § 3. The legal title and § 1 in the version of the Federal Law BGBl. I No 71/2010 will enter into force on 26 March 2009. '
