According to a further note by the Secretary-General, the Kingdom of the Netherlands 1 On 17 February 2010 the following statement was made:

The Kingdom of the Netherlands declares, in accordance with Article 20 (2) of the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for certain hazardous chemicals and pesticides in international trade, that it is both in this paragraph shall be deemed to be binding on any party which has an obligation to settle one or both of these means of dispute settlement.
