On the occasion of the deposit of the instrument of ratification, Serbia made the following statement:

According to Art. 18 of the Convention, Serbia declares that it accepts both means of dispute settlement referred to in paragraph 2.

According to a further note by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the Government of the Netherlands 1 On 17 February 2010 the following statement was made:

The Kingdom of the Netherlands declares, in accordance with Article 18 (2) of the Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants, that it is both binding in relation to each party to the dispute settlement referred to in this paragraph , which recognises one or both means of dispute settlement.
