169. Regulation of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Family and Youth on the accreditation of the VB-Cert Association for the promotion of uniform standards in the prevention of fire protection for the certification of products

On the basis of § 17 (1) of the Accreditation Act, BGBl. No 468/1992, as last amended by BGBl. I No 85/2002, shall be assigned:

§ 1. The VB-Cert Association for the promotion of uniform standards in the prevention of fire protection, based in 1050 Vienna, Siebenbrunnengasse 21 object A 4. OG, is accredited as a body that certifies products according to ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 45011 ("General requirements in places operating the product certification systems") certified.

§ 2. The certification authority includes the certification of the following products, procedures and services:

1.

Fire alarm systems (ÖNORM F 3000),

2.

Fire case control systems (ÖNORM F 3001),

3.

Fire alarm control systems (ÖNORM F 3003),

4.

Oxygen Reduction Systems (SRS) (ÖNORM F 3007),

5.

Oxygen Reduction Units-Control Center (ÖNORM F 3008),

6.

Gas extinguishing systems (GLS) (ÖNORM F 3010),

7.

Components of automatic fire alarm systems-fire service control panel (ÖNORM F 3031),

8.

Planning, project planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire alarm systems and fire control systems, with the restriction to section 6 and Appendix B (ÖNORM F 3070),

9.

Planning, construction, commissioning and maintenance of gas extinguishing systems, with the restriction to Section 5 and Annex C (ÖNORM F 3071),

10.

Planning, project planning, installation, commissioning and maintenance of oxygen reduction systems (SRA), with the restriction to point 6 and Appendix C (ÖNORM F 3073).

§ 3. The certification authority applies to those areas in which the Federal Government is responsible for legislation and enforcement, provided that the federal laws governing these areas do not comply with the provisions of the Accreditation Act relating to the accreditation of such bodies.

§ 4. With the entry into force of this Regulation, the Regulation of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Family and Youth on the accreditation of the organisation VB-Cert for the certification of products, BGBl. II No 127/2009, except for force.
