106. Presentation of the Federal Chancellor concerning the scope of the European Convention for the Protection of Pet Animals

According to the Communications of the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, the following other countries have their instruments of ratification of the European Convention for the Protection of pet animals (BGBl. III N ° 137/2000):

On the occasion of the deposit of their instrument of ratification, the following states have declared the following reservations, or Statements made:

Azerbaijan:

In accordance with Art. 21 (1) of the Convention, the Republic of Azerbaijan declares that Art. 10 para. 1 lit. a in the Republic of Azerbaijan is not applicable.

France:

In accordance with Article 21 (1) of the Convention, the Government of the French Republic declares that it is not in accordance with Article 10 (1) lit. shall be bound.

In accordance with Article 20 (1) of the Convention, the Government of the French Republic declares that the Convention shall apply to the territory of the French Republic, with the exception of New Caledonia; French Polynesia and the French South and Antarctic Territories Application.

Latvia:

In accordance with Article 21 (1) of the Convention, the Republic of Latvia declares that the corresponding prohibition in Art. 10 para. 1 lit. a no application shall be found on:

According to a further note by the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Belgium, on 13 August 2002, had its reservation at the time of ratification 1 fully withdrawn.
