48. Federal Law on the Granting of a Federal subsidy and other funding on the occasion of the 90. Return of the anniversary of the popular vote in Carinthia

The National Council has decided:

§ 1. The federal government is granted the occasion of the 90. Return to the anniversary of the referendum, in which the resident population in the voting area has decided to stay with the Republic of Austria, in the years 2011 to 2015 a total of four million euros to promote the the Slovenian-speaking population, support for projects which are conducive to harmonious coexistence and confidence-building measures, for projects to promote community development and economic and cultural development in the municipalities.

§ 2. The amount shall be used as follows:

1.

EUR 2 000 000 in 2011 shall be charged to the municipalities in the voting area in accordance with Annex 1, in proportion to their population, in accordance with the results of the 2001 census.

2.

The remaining amount shall be used in accordance with Appendix 2.

§ 3. Applications for funding pursuant to § 2 Z 2 shall be sent to the Federal Chancellery by 30 November 2011 at the latest. The German Federal Chancellery shall be required to prove the use of this appropriation in accordance with the purpose of the appropriation, by 31 May 2016 at the latest. § 11 of the People's Group Act, BGBl. No 396/1976, as amended, shall apply with the proviso that the Advisory Council of the Advisory Council shall replace the Advisory Council pursuant to § 4.

§ 4. (1) For the purpose of advising the Federal Chancellor on the award of the grants pursuant to § 2 Z 2, an advisory board is set up, each of which is a representative of the Federal Chancellor. a representative
