259. Regulation of the Federal Minister of Health, amending the Medical Training Regulations 2006 (ÄAO 2006) (2). Novelle of the AAO 2006)

On the basis of § § 9 (7) and 24 of the Medical Act 1998, BGBl. I n ° 169, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 61/2010, after consultation of the Austrian Medical Association:

The Medical Education/Medical Training Regulations 2006 (ÄAO 2006), BGBl. II No 286, as last amended by BGBl. II No 167/2010, shall be amended as follows:

1. In the table of contents, after the entry "§ 9 Other training requirements" the entry
"§ 9a Requirements for training in an additive compartment (additive specialist training) and definition of the task area" inserted, the entry to § 26 "Guidance of professional professional designations" by the entry "Guidance of medical professional designations" , in Appendix 15 after the expression "Gastroenterology and Hepatology," the expression "Geriatrics," inserted, in Appendix 27 after the word "Additives" the expression "Geriatrics," inserted, in Appendix 34 after the word "Additives" the expression "Geriatrics," inserted, in Annex 37 to the expression "Psychiatry and Psychotherapeutic Medicine" the expression "and Additives Geriatrics" added after the entry "Appendix 45 Special subject Virology" the entry "Appendix 46 General medicine Additives Geriatrics" .

2. § 3 Z 1 reads:

" 1.

"Training in an additive compartment" Means the supplementary specific training in the field of general medicine or the sub-area of a special subject within the duration of at least three years in the sense of a priority training for the acquisition of full-depth knowledge, Experience and skills for a particularly in-depth general medical or medical professional practice. The completion of the additional specialist training does not lead to any extension of the professional training to other special subjects. "

3. In § 9, the first paragraph and the previous sales designation shall be deleted. "(2)" .

4. In accordance with § 9, the following § 9a and title shall be inserted:

" Requirements for training in an additive compartment (additive specialist training) and definition of the task area

§ 9a. (1) An additional specialist training is possible for physicians in general medicine on the part of Geriatrie. The provisions of § § 16 to 20 (1), which apply to medical specialists, are to be applied equally to doctors for general medical practice.

(2) The definition of the area of responsibility arises from: Appendix 46 . "

5. In § 15 (1) the following Z 4a shall be inserted after Z 4:

" 4a.

Geriatrics within the scope of the special subjects Internal Medicine, Neurology, Physical Medicine and General Rehabilitation as well as Psychiatry and Psychotherapeutic Medicine, "

(6) In § 19, the point at the end of the first sentence is replaced by a supplement and the following word sequence is inserted:

"unless otherwise specified in the annexes."

7. § 26 together with headline reads:

" Guidance of medical professional designations

§ 26. The professional titles to be listed by the specialist doctors are to be determined in accordance with the special designations mentioned in this regulation and those to be provided by physicians for general medical practice and by specialist doctors/specialists. Additive designations are based on the additional designations for additive specialist training, unless otherwise specified in the transitional provisions. "

8. In accordance with Section 28 (2), the following paragraph 3 is added:

' (3) Where provisions of the Medical/Medical Training Regulations 2006-AAO 2006 are amended, persons who have started training before a change shall be trained in accordance with the provisions applicable before the date of entry into force of the relevant amendments. provisions or in accordance with the amended provisions. "

9. § 32 together with headline reads:

" Eligibility for the management of additional designations for additive compartments provided for in this Regulation

§ 32. (1) Persons who have been shown to have completed at least three years of activity in a newly designated sub-area of the special subject covered by this Regulation until 31 December 2007 shall be subject to the following conditions: Entry into the medical list for the guidance of the additional designation pointing to the respective additive compartment is entitled, unless otherwise determined with regard to certain additive compartments in paragraph 2.

"

10. § 36 together with headline reads:

" Temporary introduction of the additive compartment Neuropediatrics

§ 36. After the end of December 31, 2010, training in the additive compartment of Neuropediatrics may only be started until the end of December 31, 2013 and only within the framework of the special subject for children's and adolescents ' health care. "

11. § 37 receives the sales designation "(1)" , the following paragraph 2 shall be inserted after:

" (2) The table of contents, § 3 Z 1, § 9, § 9a and the title, § 15 (1) (4a), § 19, § 26, including the title, § 28 (3), § 32, including the title, § 36, title and annexes 15, 27, 34, 37 and 46 in the version of the 2nd amendment of the AAO 2006, BGBl. The following part XII shall be added to Annex 15, Part 2:

Additive Geriatrics

A. Definition of the area of responsibility

The Geriatrics Additive Compartment comprises the curative, palliative, preventive and rehabilitative care of patients in the field of internal medicine, which in particular has a higher biological age, usually several limited Organ functions and/or diseases, functional deficits and thus increased vulnerability, with special consideration of the somatic, psychological and socio-cultural aspects as well as of the multidimensional geriatric Assessments including seam management.

B. Minimum duration of training and training subjects

The following part III shall be added to Annex 27, Part 2:

Additive Geriatrics

A. Definition of the area of responsibility

The Geriatrics Additive Compartment comprises the curative, palliative, preventative and rehabilitative care of patients in the field of neurology, which in particular has a higher biological age, usually several restricted organ functions. and/or diseases, functional deficits and thus increased vulnerability, with special consideration of the somatic, psychological and socio-cultural aspects as well as the multidimensional geriatric assessment included Seam management.

B. Minimum duration of training and training subjects

1.

14. Annex 34, 2. the following part III is added:

The Geriatrics Additive Compartment comprises the curative, palliative, preventative and rehabilitative care of patients in the field of physical medicine and general rehabilitation, which in particular is a higher biological age, usually several limited organ functions and/or diseases, functional deficits and thus increased vulnerability, with special consideration of the somatic, psychic and socio-cultural aspects as well as the multidimensional geriatric assessments including seam management.

B. Minimum duration of training and training subjects

1.

Two years of geriatrics, with special consideration of acute geriatrics and reobilisation, whereby an education in the special subject of physical medicine and general rehabilitation can be credited in the course of a maximum of six months, provided that a relevant activity with geriatric patients has been demonstrated

2.

Three or four months of psychiatry, showing a relevant activity with geriatric patients/patients

3.

Three or four months of neurology, showing a relevant activity with geriatric patients/patients

4.

Three or four months of internal medicine, showing a relevant activity with geriatric patients/patients

5.

Three months in a special subject of choice, whereby a relevant activity with geriatric patients is to be proven, with the exception of the special subject of physical medicine and general rehabilitation, provided that in the training subjects 2., 3. and 4. have not been completed every four months, "

Additive Geriatrics

A. Definition of the area of responsibility
