The instrument of ratification signed by the Federal President and countersigned by the Federal Chancellor was deposited with the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization on 15 July 2015; the Convention shall enter into force in accordance with its Article 21 for Austria, 15. October 2015, in force.
According to the Communications of the Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, the following additional instruments of ratification or ratification have been made.
