333. Regulation of the Federal Minister for health, with the dye regulation is amended

On the basis of § 6 para 1 and 2 of the food safety and Consumer Protection Act - LMSVG, Federal Law Gazette I no. 13/2006, as last amended by Federal Law Gazette I is no 95/2010, with regard to article 9, in agreement with the Federal Minister of economy, family and youth, decreed:

Dye regulation, Federal Law Gazette No. 541/1996, as last amended by the regulation Federal Law Gazette II No. 426/2009, is amended as follows:

1. paragraph 1:

㤠1. This regulation lays down the use of food dyes in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1333/2008 on food additives, OJ No. L 354 of December 31, 2008, p. 16, in foods in accordance with article 2 of Regulation (EC) No. 178/2002 laying down the General principles and requirements of food law, establishing the European authority for food safety and establishing procedures to food safety, OJ No. L 31 of February 1, 2002, p. 1.'

2. § 3 is omitted.

3. paragraph 4:

㤠4. The maximum residue limits laid down in the annexes refer to

1 ready to use foods that are prepared in accordance with instructions;

2. the quantities of colouring fundamental ingredient in the colouring preparation."

4. § 5 is omitted.

5. § 7 is eliminated.

6 the following sentence is added to in section 9, paragraph 1:

"They are also in accordance with article 24 in conjunction with annex V of to Regulation (EC) to disclose marked No. 1333/2008 on food additives referred."

7 the following indent is added to section in 11:

"- 2011/3/CE directive of the Commission by January 17, 2011, laying down specific purity criteria for food coloring, OJ No. L 13 of 18 January 2011."

8. in annex VI the following indent is added:

"- 2011/3/CE directive of the Commission by January 17, 2011, laying down specific purity criteria for food coloring, OJ No. L 13 of 18 January 2011."
