6. Representing the Federal Chancellor with regard to the scope of the European Convention on the Calculation of Time-limits

According to the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Switzerland has 1 on 19 May 2010, the following amendment to its declaration in accordance with Article 11 of the European Convention on the Calculation of Time-limits (BGBl. N ° 254/1983, last proclamation of the BGBl area. No 65/1985):

In accordance with Article 11 of the Convention, Switzerland shall, with effect from 1 January 2011, notify a modification of the Swiss declaration concerning the list of public holidays or days considered to be such in Switzerland. The annex (31 pages) contains the consolidated list of public holidays or days that apply in Switzerland for the federal government and the 26 cantons, taking into account that the setting of these days, with the exception of 1 August (national holiday) falls under the responsibility of the cantons.
