99. by-laws of the Federal Chancellor concerning the scope of the Convention of the United Nations on contracts for the international sale of goods

After notification of the Secretary-General of the United Nations the following States have their emitted declarations to article 921 of the Convention of the United Nations on contracts for the international sale of goods on the occasion of the ratification (Federal Law Gazette No. 96/1988, last proclamation of the scope BGBl. III No. 55/2012) withdrawn or their declarations to article 94 supplemented as follows:

Finland:

In addition to the previous declaration to article 94, the Republic of Finland, with regard to Iceland in accordance with article 1, and otherwise in accordance with article 2, declared that the Convention shall not apply to the conclusion of purchase contracts, if the parties have their establishment in Finland, Iceland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Sweden:

In addition to the previous declaration to article 94, Sweden, with respect to Iceland under article 1, with regard to Finland under article 1 explains cf. Article 3 and otherwise in accordance with article 2, that the Convention shall not apply to the conclusion of contracts of sale, if the parties have their establishment in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland or Norway.
