99. Revelation of the Federal Chancellor concerning the scope of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods
According to the note by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the following states have their statements made at the time of ratification on Art. 92 1 on the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (BGBl. No. 96/1988, last proclamation of the BGBl area. III, No 55/2012), their statements on Art. 94 are supplemented as follows:
Finland:
In addition to the previous declaration on Art. 94, the Republic of Finland declares that, with regard to Iceland, in accordance with Article 1 and otherwise in accordance with Article 2 thereof, the Convention shall not apply to the acquisition of contracts of sale if the parties to the Agreement are concerned. Have a branch in Finland, Iceland, Denmark, Norway or Sweden.
Sweden:
In addition to the previous declaration on Art. 94, Sweden states, in respect of Iceland, in accordance with Article 1, with regard to Finland, in accordance with Article 1, cf. Article 3 and otherwise, in accordance with Art. 2, that the Convention shall not apply to the establishment of contracts of sale if the parties have their establishment in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland or Norway.
