248. Regulation of the Federal Minister for Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management, with which the IG-L-exhaust gas class labelling regulation is amended

On the basis of § 14a of the Immission Protection Act-Air (IG-L), BGBl. I n ° 117/1997, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 77/2010, shall be arranged:

The Regulation of the Federal Minister for Agriculture, Forestry, the Environment and Water Management, laying down provisions for the implementation of the special marking of vehicles with regard to the allocation to the classes of exhaust gases (IG-L- Exhaust gas class labelling regulation-AbgClassic V), BGBl. II No 120/2012, shall be amended as follows:

1. In Section 2 (1), the phrase "relevant database" through the phrase "relevant databases" replaced.

2. In § 4 (1) the word order shall be "last seven digits of the vehicle identification number" through the phrase "last six digits of the vehicle identification number" replaced.

3. In § 5 (3) the word order shall be "last seven digits of the vehicle identification number" through the phrase "full vehicle identification number" replaced and the phrase "in particular in connection with the waste gas classification database" through the phrase "in particular in connection with an exhaust classification database" replaced.

4. In § 5 (4), the following shall be followed by the phrase "The manufacturers of the exhaust class identification plate chain" the phrase "pursuant to § 14a (3) IG-L" inserted.

5. In the appendix, the first paragraph shall be followed by the word order "last 7 digits of the vehicle identification number" through the phrase "last six digits of the vehicle identification number" replaced.

6. The following phrase shall be deleted in the Annex:

" Application:

The application for examination must be submitted by the holder of the trade mark or trade mark or by his duly authorised representative in Austria, the application being accompanied by the following:

-		the system of adhesive layer (chemical composition),
-		the body of the film,
-		the elements that have a retroactive effect,
-		the nature of the affixing of the protection mark,
-		the surface of the film,
-		Function of security systems against forgery and re-application after release of the film,
-		Instructions for use on sticking (especially temperature range, pre-treatment of the base, application),
-		Test sample films:
-			4 pieces of film in the size of 100 mm x 50 mm, rounded corners with radius = 5 ± 2 mm (referred to as Art. 1),
-			2 pieces of film 200 mm x 150 mm (referred to as Art. 2 in the sequence).

These pieces of film must be free from buckles and other damage which may affect their function. The adhesive layer of the film must be covered with the peelable protection system used in series production. "
