Regulatory content and regulatory purpose

§ 1. (1) This Federal Act regulates the acquisition of the successful completion of the 8. School level or the successful completion of the first eight years of compulsory schooling by young people and adults who do not obtain the compulsory school leaving certificate during school attendance or otherwise by external examinations and comply with the requirements for admission to the examination (§ 2).

(2) Examination for the acquisition of the compulsory school qualification in accordance with paragraph 1 shall be carried out by the filing of external examinations according to § 42 of the German School Education Act (SchUG), BGBl. No 472/1986. Insofar as this federal law does not determine otherwise, the rules governing external examinations shall apply.

(3) The acquisition by young people and adults of the allowances connected with the compulsory school leaving certificate in accordance with paragraph 1 shall be aimed at opening an age-appropriate access to further education and improving it for graduates and graduates. To create conditions for entry into professional life or for professional advancement.

(4) The successful completion of the external tests referred to in paragraphs 1 and 2 (compulsory school completion examination) shall be carried out with the following:

1.

the successful completion of the 8. School level or the successful completion of the first eight years of general compulsory education and

Admission to compulsory school completion-Examination

§ 2. (1) In the case of a compulsory school-leaving examination, persons must be admitted on request on the day of their entry to the compulsory school-leaving examination or to the first part-examination of the latter. information on the chosen form of examination, provided that, in accordance with § 3, there is an option;

3.

the chosen examination area pursuant to § 3 (1) Z 4,

in the examination area "Additional language" in accordance with § 3 paragraph 1 Z 4 lit. c the language chosen,

5.

where applicable, the application for the removal of examination areas in accordance with § 3 (4) (subject to presentation of the certificates),

6.

where appropriate, the recognition of examinations envisaged in accordance with § 9 (6) (subject to existing certificates) and

7.

the intended date of the filing of the examination or the intended date of the filing of the first part-examination and an envisaged time-frame for the further partial tests.

(4) The chairperson of the examination committee must decide on the admission.

(5) After the admission to the compulsory school leaving examination, a change of the examination board is no longer permissible.

Examination areas of the compulsory school degree-Examination

§ 3. (1) The compulsory school-leaving examination comprises subject-specific and didactical adult-based tasks in the following examination areas:

1.

"German-Communication and Society": a one-hour written written examination and an oral examination;

2.

"English-Globality and transculturality": After the election of the candidate for examination or the candidate for examination, a one-hour written written examination or an oral examination;

3.

"Mathematics": a one-hour written written examination and an oral examination;

4.

After the election of the candidate for examination, or the candidate for examination, two of the following examination areas:

a)

"Creativity and design",

b)

"Health and social affairs",

c)

"Other language" (with the name of the language chosen by the candidate for the examination or the candidate for examination),

d)

"Nature and technology".

The examination areas according to lit. a to d can, at the choice of the candidate for examination or the examination candidate, in the form of a one-hour written written examination, in the form of an oral examination or in the form of a project work (including their presentation and discussion at Inclusion of the professional environment).

(3) The competent government member shall have the basis for the 5. to 8. (4) An examination area pursuant to paragraph 1 (1) to (4) shall be waited upon application if the candidate for examination or the candidate for examination

the successful completion of the teaching subject or of the teaching subjects, the which has been assigned to the respective examination area (only in part) by the regulation in accordance with paragraph 3 of the respective examination area, or , or

2.

(5) The removal of examination areas is only permitted to the extent that at least a partial examination pursuant to Section 1 (1) before the competent examination board (§ 4) is to be deposited, even with the acceptance of any recognitions pursuant to § 9 (6).

Examination board of the compulsory school degree-Examination

§ 4. (1) The examination board of the compulsory school-leaving examination as well as part-examinations of the same shall consist of the chairperson and one examiner or one examiner for each partial examination.

(2) Chairman or chairperson is the head of the school, where the admission to the compulsory school-leaving examination has been carried out. The head of the school or the head of the school can transfer the chairmanship to a teacher or teacher of the school concerned.

Completion of the compulsory school-leaving examination

§ 5. (1) The compulsory school-leaving examination can be taken at a test date or in partial exams at various examination dates after the election of the candidate for examination or the examination candidate. (2) The compulsory school-leaving examination and partial examinations of the same shall be carried out within five years, calculated from the date of the authorisation, in accordance with the examination regulations in force at that date, and thereafter in accordance with the relevant provisions in force ,

(3) No or not sufficiently assessed partial exams may be repeated three times after the end of at least one month.

(5) Oral examinations as well as the presentation and discussion of a project work pursuant to § 3 paragraph 1 Z 4 are to be submitted to the public and before the respective examination board.

Assessment of partial exams as well as the overall assessment of the compulsory school degree-Examination

§ 6. (1) The assessment of the performance of the individual partial examinations pursuant to § 3 (1) Z 1 to 4 shall be assessed by the Chairperson or the Chairperson after obtaining an assessment proposal of the examiner or the examiner. all partial tests have been assessed in accordance with § 3 (1) (1) to (4) and no assessment is given to "insufficient" and

2.

A portfolio was presented and presented within the scope of the examination area pursuant to § 3 paragraph 1 Z 5.

Certificate of compulsory school leaving certificate-Examination/partial examination certificate

§ 7. (1) The performance of the examination candidate or of the candidate for examination must be assessed on the basis of partial exams of the compulsory school-leaving examination in partial examination certificates.

(2) After successful completion of all partial examinations or after successful completion of the compulsory school completion examination, a certificate of the compulsory school completion examination must be issued. Courses in preparation for compulsory school completion-Examination

§ 8. (1) At the request of a body of adult education recognised by the Confederation as a recipient of the grant or a public school within the framework of the partial legal capacity (legal entities), the competent government member may be entitled to a Prepare for the compulsory school-leaving examination.

(2) The recognition shall take place if:

the teaching or study plan to be submitted is at least equivalent to the examination requirements in accordance with § 3, and

Examinations for courses in preparation for compulsory school leaving examination-Examination

§ 9. (1) The final exams of recognised courses according to § 8 take place before an examination board under the chairmanship of a competent expert or expert of general education compulsory education. (6) Successfully completed statutory audits of recognised courses must be recognized at the request of the candidate for examination or the examination candidate as partial examinations of the compulsory school leaving examination in the relevant examination area. The recognition is only permitted to the extent that, even in the event of any loss of examination areas pursuant to § 3 (4) and (5), at least a partial examination pursuant to § 3 (1) is to be filed before the competent examination board (§ 4). The documents submitted for the verification of the recognition of the final examination must be kept together with the other documents for the compulsory school-leaving examination at the school referred to in § 2 (4).

Procedural rules

§ 10. § § 70 and 71 of the German School Education Act (BGBl) are based on the procedure concerning admission to examinations, the recognition of examinations and the appeal against a partial examination which has not passed. No 472/1986, with the proviso that the appointment must be submitted within two weeks with a reasoned appeal to the President of the Examination Commission.

Verification of the audit activity

§ 11. The Chairperson, the examiners and the examiners, as well as the author and the author of the

§ 12. Insofar as other federal laws are referred to in this Federal Act, these are to be applied in their respectively applicable version.

Enforcement

§ 14. The Federal Minister of Education, Arts and Culture is responsible for the enforcement of this federal law.
