379th regulation of the Federal Minister for labour, Social Affairs and consumer protection for the temporary employment of foreigners in the winter tourism

Due to section 5, paragraph 2 No. 1 of the aliens Employment Act - aliens, BGBl. No. 218/1975, as last amended by Federal Law Gazette I no. 25/2011, is prescribed:

§ 1 (1) for the winter tourism industry is a quota set in the amount of 1 710 for the temporary employment of foreign workers and on the following federal States, divided as follows:

Burgenland:...               15

Carinthia:...               50

Lower Austria:...               10

Upper Austria:...               80

Salzburg:...              640

Styria:...              280

Tirol: ….……………………………………………..              345

Vorarlberg:...              290

(2) within the framework of this and with regulation BGBl. II No. 350 / 2012 already allocated quotas may be granted during the whole temporal scope of this regulation of employment permits, duration of validity may not exceed 24 weeks and do not end after May 15, 2013.

§ 2 (1) for Styria is set an additional quota of 35 for short-term employment of foreign workers in the accommodation industry, catering and recreational facilities during the Alpine Ski World Championships in Schladming.

(2) within this quota, employment permits may be granted with a maximum duration of six weeks. The term of the grants may not begin before 15 January 2013 and do not end after February 28, 2013.

3. nationals who are subject to the transitional provisions for the EU – free movement of workers (Article 32a aliens), and asylum seekers are preferable in the granting of employment permits.

§ 4. This Regulation shall enter with force on April 30, 2013.
