486. Regulation of the Federal Minister of Health on the reports of national reference laboratories relating to zoonoses

Due to § 26a (4) of the Epidemiegesetz 1950, BGBl. N ° 186, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 43/2012, shall be arranged:

§ 1. (1) The notification of the occurrence of zoonotic pathogens in time and place in accordance with § 26a (2) of the Epidemiegesetz 1950, BGBl. N ° 186, as amended, shall contain, in particular, the following information per isolate.

(2) The notification to the relevant district administrative authority shall contain:

1.

the name of the national reference laboratory and address,

2.

the date of receipt of the isolat/sample in the national reference laboratory;

3.

Name of the sending laboratory and address (state, city with zip code, street, house number),

4.

Material,

5.

Zoonotic agents, including typification/fine typing,

6.

Date of laboratory diagnosis in the reference laboratory,

7.

First name and family/surname of the patient/patient,

8.

Date of birth of the patient/patient,

9.

social security number,

10.

Gender of the patient/patient,

11.

Place of residence (federal state, city with zip code, competent district administration authority),

12.

Erstisolat (Ja/No),

13.

if available-name of the medical doctor (s), ordination address, and

14.

laboratory ID of the isolates/sample of the reference laboratory.

(3) The notification to the office of the Federal Commission for the Monitoring of Zoonoses and the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety shall contain:

1.

the name of the national reference laboratory and address,

2.

the date of receipt of the isolat/sample in the national reference laboratory;

3.

Name of the sending laboratory with address (state, city with zip code, street, house number),

4.

Material,

5.

Zoonotic agents, including typification/fine typing,

6.

Date of laboratory diagnosis in the reference laboratory

7.

Year of birth of the patient/patient,

8.

Gender of the patient/patient,

9.

Place of residence (Land, competent district administration authority),

10.

Erstisolat (Ja/No), and

11.

laboratory ID of the isolates/sample of the reference laboratory.

(4) The notification to the head of the Land Commission for Zoonotic Control (Landeskommission für Zoonosensuppression) has to be included:

1.

the name of the national reference laboratory and address,

2.

the date of receipt of the isolat/sample in the national reference laboratory;

3.

Name of the sending laboratory and address (federal state, competent district administration authority),

4.

Material,

5.

Zoonotic agents, including typification/fine typing,

6.

Date of laboratory diagnosis in the reference laboratory,

7.

Year of birth of the patient/patient,

8.

Gender of the patient/patient,

9.

Place of residence (federal state, city with zip code, competent district administration authority),

10.

Erstisolat (Ja/No), and

11.

laboratory ID of the isolates/sample of the reference laboratory.

§ 2. The monthly list of all findings of diseases of zoonotic pathogens according to § 26a (3) of the Epidemiegesetz 1950, BGBl. N ° 186, as amended, shall contain, in particular, the following information per isolate:

1.

the name of the national reference laboratory and address,

2.

the date of receipt of the isolat/sample in the national reference laboratory;

3.

Name of the sending laboratory and address (state, city with zip code, street, house number),

4.

Material,

5.

Zoonotic agents, including typification/fine typing,

6.

Date of laboratory diagnosis in the reference laboratory,

7.

Year of birth of the patient/patient,

8.

Gender of the patient/patient,

9.

Place of residence (Land, competent district administration authority)

10.

Erstisolat (Ja/No),

11.

laboratory ID of the isolates/sample of the reference laboratory.

The list shall be drawn up in accordance with the respective competent district administration authority.

§ 3. (1) The notifications pursuant to § 1 para. 2 are to be transmitted via the data interface provided by the Federal Ministry of Health to the register of notifiable diseases (§ 4 Epidemigesetz 1950).

(2) The notifications pursuant to § 1 (3) and (4) shall be transmitted electronically in the form of a table.

(3) The monthly statements in accordance with § 2 shall be transmitted electronically.
