8. Federal Act, with which the Federal Constitutional Law on the limitation of the remuneration of public officials and the Federal Act on the Protection of the Federal Republic of Germany are amended

The National Council has decided:

Article 1

(constitutional provision)

Amendment of the Federal Constitutional Law on the limitation of the references of public officials

The Federal Constitutional Law on the limitation of the references of public officials, BGBl. I No 64/1997, as last amended by the Federal Constitutional Law BGBl. I n ° 53/2009, shall be amended as follows:

(2) The following paragraph 20 is added to § 11:

"(20) The adjustment factor provided for in Article 3 (1) shall be 1,018 for the calendar year 2013."

Article 2

Amendment of the Federal Data Protection Act

The Federal Data Protection Act, BGBl. I No 64/1997, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 60/2009 is amended as follows:

The following paragraph 12 is added to Article 21:

" (12) The adjustment of the initial amount in accordance with § 3 of the Federal Constitutional Law on the limitation of the references of public officials, BGBl, provided for in § 2 para. 2. I n ° 64/1997, is intended for the calendar year 2013 according to § 11 paragraph 20 of the Federal Constitutional Law on the limitation of the references of public officials in the version BGBl. I No 8/2013. "
