12. Changes to the system 1 on the order for the international rail transport of dangerous goods (RID), Annex C to the Convention on International Carriage by Rail (COTIF) 2

The Technical Committee for the Carriage of Dangerous Goods of the RID has been published on the occasion of its 50th, 51. and 52. Meeting (Malmö, 21. until 25 November 2011, Bern, 30. and 31 May 2012 and Riga, 13 November 2012) decided to amend the order for the international rail transport of dangerous goods (RID) as follows:

The references to "ERRATUM No 1" aux textes de notification OTIF/RID/NOT/2013, "ERROR_DIRECTORY 1" to the Notifying Texts OTIF/RID/NOT/2013 and "Corrigendum 1" to the notification texts OTIF/RID/NOT/2013 relate to revisions of corrections, in accordance with the list of errors already sent by the Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail (OTIF) 1. The references to OTIF/RID/NOT/2013/Add.1 concern the decisions of the 52. Meeting of the Technical Committee.

According to the communication of the Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Organisation for International Carriage by Rail (OTIF), no Member State has objected to the amended texts; the amendments are to be amended in accordance with Article 21 (2) of the COTIF (1). Jänner 2013 in force.

With this agreement, Directive 2012/45/EU on the second adaptation of the annexes to Directive 2008 /68/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the inland transport of dangerous goods to scientific and technical Progress, OJ No. OJ L 332, 4.12.2012 p. 18, as regards Annex II.1.
