86. Ordinance of the Federal Minister of the Interior on the clear identification of shooting and explosives (Explosives labelling regulation-SprKennzV)

Due to § 11 (3) of the Explosives Act 2010, BGBl. I No 121/2009, as last amended by BGBl. I No 17/2013, shall be arranged:

Unique marking

§ 1. (1) The unique marking shall include:

1.

the name of the manufacturer,

2.

the letter AT on the labelling of Austria as a Member State of manufacture or import,

3.

three figures for the name of the production site (§ 11 para. 4 SprG),

4.

the clear product code and logistical information to be provided by the manufacturer; and

5.

an electronically readable marking as a bar code or a matrix code, which directly refers to the alphanumeric code (Z 2 to 4).

(2) The clear marking must be clearly legible and must be printed on the shooting or explosive device to be marked, or it must be affixed permanently and permanently.

(3) Where the shooting or explosives to be identified are too small in order to affix the unambiguous marking in accordance with paragraph 1, the information referred to in paragraph 1 (1) (1) and (4) may be omitted.

(4) In addition, the information referred to in section 1 (1), (2), (3) and (5) shall not be marked with the information referred to in points (1), (2), (3) and (5) of this Regulation, which are to be identified by virtue of their size, shape or design. the smallest packaging unit. This is to be sealed.

(5) explosive capsules or boosters which fall under the derogation provided for in paragraph 4 shall be marked with the information referred to in paragraph 1 (2) and (3). All information referred to in paragraph 1 and the number of items contained shall be affixed to the smallest packaging unit.

(6) In addition to the forms of a unique marking provided for in § 2 Z 1 and 3 to 7, a passive inert label may also be used.

Affixing of the marking

§ 2. The clear marking (§ 1) is

1.

In the case of firing and explosive devices in cartridges or bags with an adhesive label on the bag or cartridge, or on the cartridge or bag, a corresponding adhesive label shall be placed on each box of the cartridge;

2.

in the case of packaged two-component firing and explosive devices, to be fitted with an adhesive label on the firing or explosive device to be marked, or to be printed on the smallest packaging unit containing both components;

3.

in the case of explosive capsules, with an adhesive label, or to be printed or stamped on the sleeve of the explosive capsule, and a corresponding label shall also be affixed to each container with explosive capsules;

4.

in the case of electric, non-electrical and electronic detonators, either with an adhesive label on the wires or the sheathing, or directly on the capsule of the fuse, or to stamp it, with a corresponding label also on: shall be affixed to each container of igniter;

5.

in the case of primers which do not fall under the exception of Article 2 (7) of the Sprinter, as well as to attach boosters with an adhesive label or to print them directly on the primers and boosters, with a corresponding label also on each container with primers or boosters shall be affixed;

6.

in the case of explosive cords with an adhesive label, on the roll or directly on the roll, the unambiguous identification of either every five metres on the outer casing or on the pressed inner plastic layer directly under the outer fibre of the explosive device and a corresponding label shall also be affixed to each container with detonation cords; any detonating cord falling within the scope of Article 1 (4) shall be on the roll or reel and, where appropriate, in addition to the smallest packaging unit with a unique marking ,

7.

on cans and barrels, with an adhesive label, with an adhesive label, or printed directly on the can or the barrel.

Copies of the original label

§ 3. Persons who meet the mandatory labelling requirements in accordance with Section 11 (1) and (2) of the German Act (2) shall be able to pass on adhesive, detachable copies of the original label for unequivocal identification by their customers to the shooting and explosives. Copies made in such a way must be clearly marked as copies of the original label.
