119. Presentation by the Federal Chancellor of the scope of the Convention, drawn up by the Council in accordance with Article 34 of the Treaty on European Union, on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters between the Member States of the European Union

According to the note by the Secretary-General of the Council of the European Union, 1 on 15 February 2013, his statements concerning the Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters between the Member States of the European Union, drawn up by the Council in accordance with Article 34 of the Treaty on European Union (held in BGBl). " According To Art. 24 (1) lit. b designates Spain as the central authority in accordance with Article 6 (2) of the Ministry of Justice (Directorate-General for International Legal Cooperation and Relations with the Faith Communities).

According to Art. 24 (1) (lit). (e) for the purposes of Articles 18 and 20 of the Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters between the Member States of the European Union, the competent authority shall be the competent authority, in application of the normal legislation governing the provision of Jurisdiction shall be designated as a court. With regard to Article 20 (4) on the designation of contact points occupied around the clock, Spain's contact points are the competent court's authorities which are inadvertent. "
