119. by-laws of the Federal Chancellor concerning the scope of the Convention - in accordance with article 34 of the Treaty on European Union by the Council created - on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters between the Member States of the European Union

After notification of the Secretary-General of the Council of the European Union, spain1 has his explanations regarding the Convention, created by the Council in accordance with article 34 of the Treaty on European Union, on mutual assistance in criminal matters between the Member States of the European Union on 15 February 2013 (made known in Federal Law Gazette III No. 65/2005, last proclamation of the scope BGBl. III No. 124/2012) amended as follows :

"In accordance with article 24 paragraph 1 lit. b designate Spain in accordance with article 6 paragraph 2 the Ministry of Justice (Directorate-General for international legal cooperation and relations with religious communities) as the central authority.

In accordance with article 24 paragraph 1 lit. e is for the purposes of articles 18 and 20 of the agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters between the Member States of the European Union to be the competent authority the Court named in application of common legislation on the determination of jurisdiction. What are article 20 paragraph 4 concerning the designation of contact points, which occupied around the clock, concerns, so the contact points of Spain are the qualify the duty of the competent court."
