On the occasion of the deposit of their instrument of accession, the following states have expressed reservations:

Ethiopia:

Ethiopia does not recognise the jurisdiction of the International Court of Justice, which is provided for under Article 15 (2) of the Protocol.

Micronesia:

In accordance with Article 15 (3) of the Protocol, the Federated States of Micronesia declare that they do not comply with Article 15 (2) of the Protocol.

Vietnam:

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam does not consider itself bound by Article 15 (2) of the Protocol.
