146. Federal law amending the Environmental Promotion Act

The National Council has decided:

The Environmental Promotion Act (UFG), BGBl. No. 185/1993, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I n ° 98/2013, shall be amended as follows:

1. In accordance with § 6 para. 2f the following new paragraph 2g is inserted:

" (2g) The Federal Minister for Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management can, due to flood damage in May and June of 2013, in the years 2013 to 2015 in addition to para. 2, 2a and 2b in the context of a special tranche for purposes the settlement water management (§ § 16 et seq.) to pledge additional funding and grant contracts in accordance with paragraph 1, the total amount of which corresponds to a cash value of no more than 20 million euros. "

Section 51 (5a) reads as follows:

" (5a) The Fund has to make available to the Federal Government, from its net worth, funds to the extent necessary to the special tranches of settlement water management (§ 6 para. 2a, 2b and 2g) with a cash value of 527,839 million euros and to cover the funding for the improvement of the ecological status of the waters (§ 6 para. 2e) with a cash value of 140 million euros. "
