236. Regulation of the Federal Minister for Agriculture, Forestry, the Environment and Water Management on the setting of conditions for regional quality wines with origin profiles for the Vienna Mixed Set DAC (DAC-Regulation " Wiener Gemischter Sentence ")

Due to § 34 of the Weingesetz 2009, BGBl. I n ° 111 as amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 104/2013, shall be arranged:

§ 1. Wine may be placed on the market under the name "Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC" or "Wiener Gemischter Satz Districtus Austriae Controllatus" without a minor geographical indication as "Vienna", if it meets the requirements for quality wine and complies with the following requirements:

It must come from a Viennese vineyard complying with the conditions laid down in the Annex, and shall be planted with at least three vine varieties which shall be read and processed together.

2.

The grapes come from vineyards, which are 100% within the wine-growing area of Vienna.

3.

The largest proportion of varieties shall not be higher than 50%, and the third largest variety shall be at least 10%.

4.

The vineyards must be registered as a Viennese mixed sentence in the cadastre of the Wiener Rebblanket directory.

It must be a white wine indicating the harvest year. The actual alcoholic strength by volume shall not exceed 12.5% vol. on the label; the Regional Wine Committee in Vienna may increase this value in years with special weather conditions. The wine has to correspond to the taste of "dry".

It may only be delivered in glass bottles to the final consumer, unless it is to be immediately enjoyed at the place of administration. In glass bottles, nominal volumes of 1.0 l and 2.0 l, as well as a cap with crown cork, are not allowed. Exceptions to this can be granted on request to the Regional Wine Committee Vienna.

It must not have a strong perceptible wooden insert.

It is to be produced and bottled in the wine-growing region of Vienna. A production and bottling outside of the area may only be made with the approval of the Regional Wine Committee Vienna. Such authorisation shall be obtained annually and may be granted, in particular, if the vineyard of the producer is situated in the wine-growing region of Vienna and the manufacture of the wine in an operation of the manufacturer is outside the Municipal territory is carried out. In the case of grape and wine purchases, the catastral community, the land number (s) and the area (s) must be added to the invoices, delivery notes and transport documents to be purchased.

§ 2. Wine may be placed on the market under the name "Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC" or "Wiener Gemischter Satz Districtus Austriae Controllatus" with a smaller geographical indication as "Vienna" if it complies with the conditions of § 1. By way of derogation, the actual alcoholic strength by volume of at least 12.5% vol. must be indicated on the label and the wine does not have to be "dry" in accordance with the taste of the wine. It shall not be delivered to the final consumer before the first March of the year following the harvest.

§ 3. In the case of a "Wiener Gemischtem Satz DAC", no trade marks or fantasy designations and no traditional indications according to § 1 of the German Wine Labelling Ordinance, BGBl, may be used. II No 111/2011, as well as no other traffic names.

§ 4. The names "DAC" shall be indicated on the label in direct relation to "Wiener Gemischter Satz" ("Wiener Gemischter Satz") and in characters which are not more than half the size of the "Wiener Gemischter Satz" ("Wiener Gemischter Satz"). The indication "Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC" and the indication of the smaller geographical indication as "Vienna" shall be indicated on the front label, the smaller geographical indication being indicated as "Vienna" in characters which shall not exceed the maximum number of "Vienna". are as large as those used for "Wiener Gemischter Satz" and used at least as large as those used for "DAC".

§ 5. Anyone who intends to obtain an application for a state test number for a wine called "Wiener Gemischtem Satz DAC" for the first time has to inform the Regional Wine Committee of Vienna in writing (also e-mail or fax).

§ 6. Quality wines from Vienna up to and including the 2013 vintage may continue to be placed on the market, subject to compliance with the rules of designation applicable before this Regulation.

§ 7. The Regional Committee reserves the right to make a contribution.
