The notification referred to in Article 138 of the Agreement was deposited with the Secretary-General of the Council of the European Union on 4 July 2008, and, according to the Secretary-General's note, the Agreement entered into force on 1 May 2010 in accordance with its Article 138.

The Agreement was published in the Official Journal of the European Union, OJ C 327 No. OJ L 108, 29.04.2010, p. 3.
