266. Declaration by the Federal Chancellor concerning the obsolescence of the Protocol on the application of the Convention on the mutual recognition of certificates and conformity certificates to the Principality of Liechtenstein of 15 June 1988
On the basis of § 5 paragraph 1 Z 6 of the Federal Law on the Federal Law Gazette 2004 (BGBlG), BGBl. I n ° 100/2003 idgF, shall be made known:
The Protocol on the Application of the Convention on the Mutual Recognition of Certificates And Conformity Certificates to the Principality of Liechtenstein of 15 June 1988 (BGBl. No 593/1990, idF BGBl. I n ° 2/2008) provides, in its first paragraph, that the Convention shall apply to the Principality of Liechtenstein as long as Switzerland is a State Party to the Convention on the Mutual Recognition of Certificates And Certificates; and Proof of conformity is required. According to the statement of the depositary, Switzerland has terminated the Convention on 22 November 2002 and is therefore no longer a Contracting State; the Protocol has thus become obsolete.
