494. Regulation of the Federal Minister for labour, Social Affairs and consumer protection for the temporary employment of foreigners in the agriculture and forestry

Due to section 5, paragraph 2 No. 1 of the aliens Employment Act - aliens, BGBl. No. 218/1975, as last amended by Federal Law Gazette I no. 72/2013, is prescribed:

§ 1. For the sector of agriculture and forestry, a quota is set in the amount of 2 750 for the temporary employment of foreign workers and on the provinces, divided as follows:

60 § 2 (1) within the framework of these quotas may be granted during the whole temporal scope of this regulation of employment permits with a validity period up to six months. For foreigners, each limited dealing with agriculture and forestry in the previous three years within a quota for the temporary employment of foreign workers in the sector were and are subject to the transitional provisions for the EU – free movement of workers (Article 32a aliens), employment permits up to nine months may be given with a period of validity. The duration of the employment permits do not end after 31 December 2014.

(2) foreigners, who are subject to the transitional provisions for the EU – free movement of workers, and asylum seekers are preferable in the granting of employment permits.

§ 3. With 3 January 2014, this Regulation shall enter into force and expiry of the 30 November 2014 override.
