25. Revelation of the Federal Minister of Constitution and Public Service on the termination of agreements with Hungary

On the basis of § 5 paragraph 1 Z 6 of the Federal Law on the Federal Law Gazette 2004 (BGBlG), BGBl. I n ° 100/2003 idgF, shall be made known:

The Republic of Austria and Hungary have agreed, by common agreement, that the following agreements with the accession of Hungary to the European Union, by 1 May 2004, by Article 18 (1) of the Treaty establishing the European Community, and the Directive 2004 /38/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on the right of citizens of the Union and their family members to move and reside freely within the territory of the Member States, in accordance with Article 59 (1) (lit). a of the Vienna Convention on the Law of the Treaties of 23 May 1969 shall be deemed to have ended:

Agreement between the Austrian Federal Government and the Government of the Hungarian People's Republic on the entry and residence of shipowners of 17 May 1971, Federal Law Gazette (BGBl). No 252/1971;

Agreement between the Republic of Austria and the Hungarian People's Republic on the granting of visas free of charge for travel to fulfil economic, scientific, cultural or sporting duties of 25 February 1975, BGBl. No 239/1976;

Agreement between the Austrian Federal Government and the Government of the People's Republic of Hungary on the abolition of the visa requirement of 5 July 1978, Federal Law Gazette (BGBl). No 481/1978, idF BGBl. III No 91/1997.
