28 announcement of the Federal Minister for constitutional and civil service regarding the scope of the International Covenant on Civil and political rights

Following messages of the Secretary-General of the United Nations have below States on the occasion of the depositing of the reservations stated instruments of ratification or accession or statements to the International Covenant on Civil and political rights (Federal Law Gazette No. 591/1978, last proclamation of the scope BGBl. III No. 61/2011) as follows in part or entirely withdrawn:

              France1 - partial withdrawal of the Vorbehalts2 to article 14 paragraph 5 on July 26, 2012;

              Irland3 - withdrawal of the Vorbehalts2 to article 19 paragraph 2 on December 15, 2011;

              Pakistan4 - withdrawal of Vorbehalte2 to articles 6, 7, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 40, as well as partial withdrawal and amendment of the Vorbehalte2 to article 3 and article 25 on September 20, 2011;

              Thailand5 - withdrawal of Erklärungen2 to article 6 paragraph 5 and article 9 paragraph 3 on July 6, 2012.

 

A further communication from the Secretary-General according to Guinea-Bissau6 has issued an Erklärung2 on September 24, 2013 pursuant to article 41 of the Covenant.
