2. § 1 reads:

no devices can be used to make money in the gambling machines by means of electronic transactions (e.g. ATM card),

to allow only one game in accordance with § 13 at the same time,

have the possibility of using a card reader for the purpose of protecting the player,

7.

allow the activation and deactivation of game programs by the management system if

a)

the corresponding game programme has been approved in a technical opinion,

b)

the activation and deactivation by the management system is carried out via the G2S protocol and

c)

In the event of a request by the central control system, it is ensured that the signature values of the software components for all game programs stored at the gambling machine are determined and transmitted to the central control system. (§ 24 (6)), and

Special provisions for gambling machines in game banks

Requirements for jackpot systems

§ 45. (1) The triggering conditions for a jackpot must be set at the beginning of a jackpot game and must not be changed until the jackpot is triggered. 2.

all accesses to the jackpot controller with type of access, date and time as well as

3.

all malfunctions of the system with the nature of the error, date and time.

(11) Jackpot controllers must have an internal diagnostic system that is self-sufficient.

1.

at system start and periodic intervals, at least once in 24 hours, automatic self-testing of the jackpot system,

2.

monitoring the permanent connection with the connected and participating gambling machines and the data transmission, and

3.

Application provisions for gambling machines in game banks

§ 46. (1) For concessionaires and their gambling machines in game banks, the provisions of § § 1 to 20 and § § 23 to 38 applicable to the holder of the authorization shall apply in accordance with the relevant provisions.

(2) In jackpot systems, in addition to § 7 para. 2 Z 2a, 2b and 3, a connection of the devices necessary for the operation of jackpot systems to a gambling machine is permitted. Jackpot-related requirements for gambling machines

§ 50. (3) In addition to the unique name of the jackpot controller, the jackpot controller type report shall contain test reports for each component as well as a test report for each combination of these components, and the jackpot controller shall contain a test report for each component intended for use. (5) If changes are made to hardware or software components of a jackpot controller for which no jackpot controller type opinion is available, a new jackpot controller type report is required.

(6) In the event of changes in the short term, the Federal Minister of Finance may, at the request of the concessionaire, approve the time-limited use of hardware or software components, even if no jackpot controller is yet available for the latter. Type opinion is available.

Technical advice on jackpot systems

§ 51. A separate technical report for jackpot systems has the jackpot controller approved for a jackpot system and the gambling machines tested with these jackpot controllers for jackpot games. The opinion has to comply with the presentation of the plant (detail specification 13).
