According to a further communication from the Director-General, the Netherlands 1 On 11 May 2011, the Convention was notified that the Convention was effective in its 10 years. It will also apply to the Caribbean part of the Netherlands (the islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba) and to Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
