236. Presentation by the Federal Minister of Arts and Culture, the Constitution and the Media, concerning the scope of the Convention for the Liberation of Foreign Public Documents from the certification

According to the Dutch Government's communication, Austria has 14. October 2014, the following amendment relating to the authentication (BGBl) pursuant to Article 3 (1) of the Convention on the Liberation of Foreign Public Documents (BGBl. No. 27/1968, last proclamation of the BGBl area. III n ° 128/2014) for the issuing of the Apostille authorities 1 published:

" The Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs is honored to inform itself that, according to paragraph 145 of the Apostille Manual 2013, Austrian embassies and professional consulates abroad with effect from 1 November 2014 are to affix apostilles to certain documents. These documents shall be taken from the Austrian Central Civil Status Register, which contains civil status documents and citizenship documents, as well as from the criminal record, or transmitted in electronic form.

List of documents:

Birth certificates

Marriage certificates

Death certificates

Citizenship certificate

Confirmation of the withdrawal from the State Association

Criminal records

The Apostille is attached to the above-mentioned documents in the form of a label directly or on a separate leaflet, which is inseparably linked to the document. A pattern of the apostilles used is enclosed for information. The exhibition of Apostilles by Austrian Honorary (general) consulate is not permitted. "
