Regulation of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Labour, with the training regulations for the teaching profession Bankkaufmann/Bankkauffrau will be issued

On the basis of § 8 of the Vocational Training Act, BGBl. No. 142/1969, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 79/2003, shall be ordered:

§ 1. The teaching profession Bankkaufmann/Bankkauffrau is set up with a teaching period of three years.

Professional profile

§ 2. Through vocational training in the course of teaching and in the vocational school, the trained apprentice is to be able to carry out the following activities in a professional, independent and self-responsible way:

Receive, serve and advise customers on the use of services and products,

Open accounts, lead and settle accounts

3.

unwind the switch business, including cashless payment transactions,

4.

handling transactions within the framework of international payments;

5.

introduce and explain credit and investment opportunities within the framework of specified limits or guidelines,

§ 3. (1) The following vocational training shall be established for the training. Transitional provisions

§ 5. (1) The Banking Mann-Training Order, BGBl. II No 151/1998, without prejudice to the provisions on examination requirements, with the expiry of 31 December 2003.

(2) Apprentices who are trained in the teaching profession Bankkaufmann on 31 December 2003 may be trained in accordance with the training regulations referred to in paragraph 1 above.

(3) The apprenticeship periods completed in the teaching profession Bankkaufmann in accordance with the training regulations referred to in paragraph 1 are to be fully attributed to the teaching period in the teaching profession Bankkaufmann/Bankkauffrau.
