5. Regulation of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Labour, which lays down training rules for the profession of book and media - book and musical trade

On the basis of the § 8 of the Professional Law, BGBl. No 142/1969, last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 79/2003, will be prescribed:

Teaching profession Buch und Medienwirtschaft - book and music sales

§ 1. The profession of book and media economy - book and music sales is established with a three-year teaching period.

Professional profile

§ 2. Through vocational training in teaching and vocational training, the trained teacher will be able to carry out the following activities in a professional, independent and self-responsible manner:

1.

identify the need for the collection and implementation of goods in the operational communication form;

2.

monitor deliveries of goods and handle administratively,

3.

take over, control, store and maintain goods;

4.

Bring together a market-oriented range of books, other media and/or music anomalies and present them in a professional manner;

5.

advise customers on product selection and offer services;

6.

conduct sales and advice talks,

7.

library and recherishment,

8.

carry out work with databases and discounts,

9.

counter orders and client orders and manage inclusive accounts and payments,

10.

treat customer reclamations;

11.

carry out administrative work using operational information and communication systems;

12.

participate in the operational accounting and cost calculation;

13.

provide, await and evaluate statistics, files and maps.

Professional training

§ 3. (1) The following training course will be defined. (2) Training in professional knowledge and skills is (with particular attention to the operational requirements and requirements (on the personal training of the apprentices) to respect the key skills required for a professional force (such as openness, team capacity, conflictability), self-sufficiency (such as self-assessment, self-confidence, self-confidence, congestion), methods competence (such as presentationability, rhetoric in German language, understandingability in the basic English language guidelines) and competence for self-learning (such as readiness, knowledge of methods, ability to offer appropriate media)

§ 4. This Regulation will enter into force on 1 January 2004.

Transitional provisions

§ 5. (1) The training rules for the profession of booksellers, BGBl. No. 375/1990, expire at the end of 31. December 2003.

(2) Apprenticeships, The training system referred to in paragraph 1 may be further trained in the teaching profession.

(3) The periods of teaching in the profession of bookellers according to the in paragraph. 1 of the above mentioned training rules have been fully calculated on the teaching period in the book and media sector - book and music sales.

(4) The training rules for the teaching profession of music retailers, BGBl. No 382/1990, enter into force at the end of 31. December 2003.

(5 apprentices, Apprenticeships in the teaching profession can be trained in accordance with the in paragraph. 4 training systems mentioned are further trained.

(6) The periods of teaching, which in the course of the teaching profession, music Italian dealers according to the in paragraph. 4 of the aforementioned training rules have been resolved to fully calculate the teaching period in the book and media sector - book and music sales.
