3. announcement of the Federal Minister for arts and culture, constitutional and media regarding the scope of the supplementary Protocol against the trafficking of migrants by land, sea and air to the Convention of the United Nations against the transnational organized crime

After messages of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, following further States have their instruments of ratification or accession to the Protocol against the trafficking of migrants by land, sea and air to the United Nations against the transnational organized crime Convention (BGBl. III No. 11/2008, last proclamation of the scope BGBl. III No. 175/2013) deposited:

On the occasion of the deposit of its instrument of accession, Cuba has declared to consider paragraph 3 of the Protocol, the provisions of paragraph 2 of this article does not itself bound in accordance with the provisions of article 20.

In addition, the Czech Republic on the occasion of the deposit of their instrument of ratification determined para. 6 of the Protocol as follows their authority in accordance with article 8:

Without prejudice to article 18 of the Convention of the United Nations against the transnational organized crime and the communication of the Czech Republic, which was made in accordance with article 18 paragraph 13, tells Czech Republic pursuant to article 8 para. 6 of the Protocol against the trafficking of migrants by land, sea and air to the Convention of the United Nations against the transnational organized crime , that the Police Presidium of the Czech Republic, Department of international police cooperation, as the responsible authority for the reception of requests for assistance, for the confirmations of the registration or the right of a vessel to fly its flag and to take appropriate measures for the approval and respond to.
