28. Regulation of the Federal Government on the call for tenders for the election of the Federal President, the fixing of the election day and the deadline

Pursuant to Section 1 (1) of the Federal Presidential Elections Act 1971, BGBl. No 57/1971, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 158/2015, shall be arranged:

§ 1. The election of the Federal President is to be written out.

§ 2. In agreement with the Main Committee of the National Council, the election day of 24 April 2016 shall be set.

§ 3. The date of 23 February 2016 will be determined as the deadline.

§ 4. The term "Bundespräsident", which is contained in the regulation, applies to both sexes.
