Amendment.
The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc.
Law:
Article 1-Amend article 2537 of the Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation, which shall be worded as follows:
Article 2537: Amendment of the time limits by subsequent law. The limitation periods in progress at the time of entry into force of a new law are governed by the previous law. However, if this law requires more time than the new law, the time designated by the new laws, counted from the day of its validity, shall be fulfilled, except that the time limit set by the old law the new period before the new law, in which case the law of the previous law is maintained. The civil actions arising from the crimes against humanity are excepted from the above.
Article 2-Amend article 2560 of the Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation, which shall be worded as follows:
Article 2560: Generic deadline.
Civil actions stemming from crimes against humanity are prescriptive.
The limitation period is five (5) years, except that a different one is provided for in the local legislation.
Article 3-Repeal the last paragraph of Article 2561 of the Civil and Commercial Code of the Nation.
Article 4-Commune to the national executive branch.
