"Educate on Equality: Prevention and Eradication of Gender Violence." Objectives. Sanctioned: November 26, 2015 Enacted in Fact: December 30, 2015

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

Article 1-This law lays down the basis for all educational establishments in the country, public or private, primary, secondary and tertiary level, to take the day " Educating in Equality: Prevention and Eradication of the Gender-based violence " with the aim of students, students and teachers developing and sharpening attitudes, knowledge, values and practices that contribute to preventing and eradicating gender-based violence.

ARTICLE 2 °-The purposes of this law are violence against women any conduct, action or omission, which in a direct or indirect way, both in the public and private spheres, based on an unequal relationship of power, affects their lives, freedom, dignity, physical, psychological, sexual, economic or patrimonial integrity, as well as their personal security in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of Law 26,485.

Article 3 °-In accordance with the provisions of Article 1, the national executive branch through the appropriate agencies shall carry out the day, at least one (1) time during the school year.

ARTICLE 4 °-The present law shall enter into force the one hundred and eighty (180) days of its publication.

Article 5-Invite the provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires to adhere to this law.

ARTICLE 6-Commune to the national executive branch.

GIVEN IN THE SESSION HALL OF THE ARGENTINE CONGRESS, IN BUENOS AIRES, AT THE TWENTY-SIX DAYS OF THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER OF THE YEAR TWO THOUSAND FIFTEEN.
