Amendment. Law No 24,240. Sanctioned: May 18, 2016 Enacted in Fact: June 08, 2016

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

ARTICLE 1-Substitute Article 4 of Law 24.240, of the Defense of the Consumer, by the following: Article 4 °: Information. The supplier is obliged to supply the consumer in a certain, clear and detailed manner with all the essential characteristics of the goods and services he provides, and the conditions of his marketing. Information should always be free for the consumer and provided in physical support, with clarity needed to enable them to be understood. Only the communication on physical support may be supplanted if the consumer or user expressly chooses to use any alternative means of communication which the supplier makes available.

ARTICLE 2 °-Commune to the national executive branch.

GIVEN IN THE SESSION HALL OF THE ARGENTINE CONGRESS, IN BUENOS AIRES, AT THE EIGHTEEN DAYS OF THE MONTH OF MAY OF THE YEAR TWO THOUSAND SIXTEEN.
