I approved the agreement between the government of the Argentine Republic and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. Create the International Center for the Promotion of Human Rights. Sanctioned: November 30, 2011 Enacted: December 21, 2011

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

ARTICLE 1-APPROVE THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE ARGENTINE REPUBLIC AND THE UNITED NATIONS ORGANIZATION FOR EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND CULTURE (UNESCO) ON THE CREATION IN BUENOS AIRES-ARGENTINA-OF THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR THE PROMOTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS, AS A CENTER OF CATEGORY 2, signed in Buenos Aires on February 13, 2009, consisting of twenty-one (21) articles, whose authenticated photocopy is an integral part of this law as Annex I.

ARTICLE 2-Create the INTERNATIONAL CENTER FOR THE PROMOTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS (ICPDH), as a decentralized entity in the field of the Human Rights Secretariat of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights of the Nation, which will be organized and shall be governed in accordance with the normative provisions contained in the document of twenty-four (24) articles, which forms an integral part of this law as Annex II.
