INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE

Declare on September 21 of each year as "International Day of Peace". Sanctioned: November 28, 2012 Enacted In Fact: December 26, 2012

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

ARTICLE 1-Declaration on September 21 of each year as "International Day of Peace" in adherence to Resolutions 36/67 and 55/282 of the General Assembly of the United Nations.

ARTICLE 2 °-Authorize to raise the Flag of Peace, which as an Annex is attached to this law, in the public buildings belonging to the three (3) powers of the national state, the provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, and in the public and private school establishments throughout the national territory.

Article 3-National universities and schools, public or private, of any educational level, will try to incorporate the theme of promoting peace in their teaching, as well as to carry out activities to commemorate "International Day of Peace" every September 21.

Article 4 °-Invite the provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires to adhere to this law.

ARTICLE 5 °-Commune to the national executive branch.
