To declare June 12 as a Day of Adolescents and Youth for Social Inclusion and Coexistence against All Forms of Violence and Discrimination. Sanctioned: November 28, 2012 Enacted in Fact: January 8, 2013
The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:
Article 1-To declare June 12 as a Day of Adolescents and Youth for Social Inclusion and the Coexistence against All Forms of Violence and Discrimination, in commemoration of the birth of Anne Frank.
Article 2-Within the Federal Council of Education, the Ministry of Education of the Nation and the educational authorities of the different jurisdictions will agree to the inclusion of this date in the school calendars of the different educational jurisdictions and the realization of the commemorative activities that they consider necessary to disseminate the ideals of Anne Frank, introduced through her diary, promoting the role of adolescents and young people in the fight against prejudice, discriminatory practices and oppression, thereby strengthening a more democracy, and the full validity of the human rights paradigm.
