National Day of the Fight against Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome in tribute to Dr. Carlos Arturo Gianantonio. Sanctioned: November 27, 2013 Enacted in Fact: December 19, 2013
The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:
Article 1 °-Institute in the territory of the Nation on the 19th of August of each year as National Day of the Fight against the Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome in tribute to Dr. Carlos Arturo Gianantonio, forerunner in the fight against this disease.
Article 2 °-The Executive Branch, through the relevant agencies and with the participation of non-governmental organizations that carry forward programs related to the subject matter of the present, will promote during the week of 19 of August of each year an intensive awareness campaign, in order to inform society of methods to prevent and detect hemolytic uremic syndrome.
ARTICLE 3 °-The Ministry of Education of the Nation, in agreement with the Federal Council of Education, will arbitrate the means necessary for its inclusion in the school calendar and in the curriculum.
ARTICLE 4 °-Commune to the national executive branch.
