The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

ARTICLE 1-Mobile telephony service providers must market equipment compatible with orthotics and hearing prostheses for hypoacusic persons.

ARTICLE 2 °-The prices of equipment compatible with orthotics and hearing prostheses must not be higher than the prices of equipment of the same range without such technology.

ARTICLE 3 °-The price of the mobile telephone service by means of equipment compatible with orthotics and hearing prostheses, will be equivalent to that of the loan by means of conventional mobile equipment.

ARTICLE 4 °-The quantity and type of equipment compatible with orthosis and auditory prostheses to be marketed by each provider of the mobile phone service will be fixed by the regulations.

ARTICLE 5-The Application Authority of this Law is the Secretariat of Communications of the Nation under the Ministry of Federal Planning, Public Investment and Services.

ARTICLE 6-Failure to comply with this law shall be liable to the following penalties: (a) Receipt. b) Multa. c) License expiration. For the application of the penalties, account shall be taken of the provisions of the Sanitary Regime established by Decree 1185/90 or the rule that in the future replaces it.

ARTICLE 7 °-This law shall be regulated within a period of not more than one hundred and eighty (180) days from its publication.

ARTICLE 8 °-Commune to the national executive branch.
