OFFSHORE OIL FIELDS

Ratify Convention. Sanctioned: April 23, 2014 Enacted: April 24, 2014

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

Article 1 °-The objective of Articles 7 °, 11 and 12 of Law 26,741, and of Article 12 of Law 21,499, and consequently ratifies the Convention of Friendly Solution and Expropriation of Expropriation concluded between the Republic Argentina, represented by the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance and Repsol S.A., Repsol Capital S.L. and Repsol Butano S.A., signed on February 27, 2014, which is an integral part of this law.

ARTICLE 2 °-Authorize the Secretariat of Finance under the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance for the issuance of Treasury Bonds of the Nation under the conditions and amounts established in the Convention referred to in the preceding article, Consequently, the General Budget of the National Public Administration for the financial year 2014, approved by law 26,895, as well as the issuance of Treasury bills in guarantee for up to an original nominal value of dollars, is extended. US $50 billion (V.N.O. USD 150,000,000) and for a maximum period of 18 (18) months from the date of issue in favor of the Bank of the Argentine Nation, to be used as counter-guarantee of the guarantee to be granted by the Bank of Argentina.

Article 3 °-The Ministry of Economy and Public Finance will be the Enforcement Authority of this law, being able to dictate the clarifying and complementary norms that are necessary for its implementation.

ARTICLE 4 °-This law shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.

ARTICLE 5 °-Commune to the national executive branch.
