National Institute of Graphic Arts. Creation. National Graphic Arts. Promotion, Promotion, Protection and Dissemination. Sanctioned: December 10, 2014 Enacted in Fact: January 09, 2015

The Senate and Chamber of Deputies of the Argentine Nation, meeting in Congress, etc., are sanctioned by law:

ARTICLE 1-Object. The purpose of this law is to promote, promote, protect and disseminate national graphic arts.

ARTICLE 2 °-Definition. For the purposes of this law, graphic arts are understood as artistic performance in the following disciplines: (a) illustration; (b) humorous and caricature drawing; (c) humorous and dramatic comic book; (d) typographical art.

ARTICLE 3-Creation. Create the National Institute of Graphic Arts-INAG-in the field of the Ministry of Culture of the Nation.

ARTICLE 4 °-Functions. The National Institute of Graphic Arts, as a governing body for the promotion, promotion, preservation, archiving and dissemination of Argentine graphic arts, has the following functions: a) Promote, encourage and stimulate the development of graphic arts throughout the territory of the Argentine Republic, through the various tools provided in this law; b) Promote the publishing of books, magazines and publications they are driven by graphic artists, in paper format and in digital support; c) To promote the preservation of the historical heritage generated by graphic artists; d) Custodian, to exhibit and to understand in the acquisition of original works and significant collections of the national graphic heritage; and) Preserving donations of works and collections of individuals, public or private institutions; (f) carrying out permanent, special and itinerant exhibitions of Argentine or foreign graphic artists; (g) stimulating teaching and contributing to training and the improvement of graphic artists in all their expressions and specialties;

(h) Generate curricula and research projects on graphic arts in general and national in particular, by itself or through agreements with recognised institutions; (i) To conclude agreements and agreements that result conducive to the achievement of the objectives of this law.

ARTICLE 5 °-Functional structure. The National Institute of Graphic Arts is conducted by a director, in collaboration with an Advisory Board, that are governed by the provisions of this law, and other rules that apply to it according to its object and functions.

ARTICLE 6-Director. The director candidate must accredit suitability and professional background in the graphic arts and cultural management, and is designated and removed by the national executive branch. He lasts for the term of four (4) years, being able to be designated by a (1) new period. During the exercise of his mandate, he cannot occupy other positions in the national, provincial or municipal state, nor in representative entities of graphic artists or related to them.

ARTICLE 7 °-Functions. The Director of the National Institute of Graphic Arts will have the following functions: a) Develop an Annual Plan of Action and General Budget of the National Institute of Graphic Arts, jointly with the Advisory Board; b) Manage, perceive and manage the budget and the revenue that it could obtain for all purposes; how to manage the assets of the institute; c) To implement the measures of promotion aimed at developing the activity of graphic artists, in their cultural, artistic, technical, industrial and commercial aspects, being able to such an effect competitions, establishing awards, awarding study and research grants, and all (d) Promote the creation of a archive and documentation centre, with the aim of safeguarding and publicizing the heritage that make up the country's different graphic arts and integrating information with other archives and similar documentation centres, from Argentina and abroad; e) Promote the dissemination and exhibition of the works of national graphic artists abroad; f) Manage and update the Single Register of Artists Graphs, Groupings, and Purposes Associations, as set out in Article 10 of this Law; Advise other State agencies on matters in which the activity of graphic arts is involved; (h) Develop an annual report on the actions implemented to achieve the objectives set out in this Law; present to the Advisory Council and raise it to the Ministry of Culture of the Nation.

ARTICLE 8-Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is chaired by the director of the National Institute of Graphic Arts, and is integrated with five (5) vowels appointed by the national executive branch, who last in their posts for the term of two (2) years, renewable equally term. A (1) representative of the Ministry of Culture of the Nation. One (1) representative of the Federal Council of Culture. Two (2) members on a proposal from the set of representative entities of graphic artists or of those with the greatest number of partners. One (1) member of accredited career in the area of graphic arts research. The members of the Advisory Board shall carry out their duties ad honorem and their expenditure

function will be financed by the National Institute of Graphic Arts.

ARTICLE 9 °-Functions. The Advisory Board has the following functions: a) Collaborate with the director of the National Institute of Graphic Arts in the design and implementation of the institute's annual plan of action and general budget; b) Advise the director of the National Institute of Graphic Arts in all (c) Propose to the Director of the National Institute of Graphic Arts the performance of activities, tributes, exhibitions, and other actions that they consider to be conducive; annual management report drawn up by the Director of the National Institute of Graphic Arts and make the observations that he considers to be conducive.

ARTICLE 10. -Single Register of Graphic Artists, Groups and Purposes Associations. ARTICLE 11. -Budget. The budget of the National Institute of Graphic Arts will be constituted by the funds that will be determined annually in the National Budget.

ARTICLE 12. -Participation in the media. The audiovisual media consisting of Radio and Television Argentina Sociedad del Estado shall issue and disseminate the activities, the exhibition agendas and any other activities carried out by the National Institute of Graphic Arts, It is understood that the aforementioned contents are in the public interest.

ARTICLE 13. -Regulations. This law must be regulated by the national executive branch within ninety (90) days of its enactment.
